Here at Bariatric Solutions we track our patient’s percentage of excess body weight loss at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months post-operatively in order to make sure that our patients meet or exceed national averages. We also track this data to help us identify any patients that may fall below the average so that we can develop exercise, nutrition, adjustment, and behavior interventions that will help them get back up to speed. The graph below represents our data analysis for the month of May, 2010. Per the graph you can see that our patients meet or exceed goal percentage of excess body weight loss as established by national standards.

Despite all of the education that we provide to our patients we still get a lot of post-op patients that are confused about what and how they should be eating to get the best results from weight loss surgery. The majority of our education is provided in written or verbal format. Some people are able to translate verbal and written instructions into a meal plan without issue; however, many patients are not. Therefore, we wanted to show a picture of how your meals and snacks should look like after surgery using what is called the Plate Eating Method. As they say….A picture is worth a thousand words.
How Your Meals/Snacks should be set up (The Plate)

Howdy,
Do you live in Abilene Texas and are you considering weight loss surgery. Unfortunately, there currently is no Weight Loss Surgeon in Abilene Texas? So, where can you go to have your weight loss surgery done?
