As the medical director of Bariatric Solutions, Dr. Scott Stowers has trained in some of the most respected institutions in the nation. After graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. This was followed by a medical internship at the Dallas / Fort Worth Medical Center. Dr. Stowers completed his residency in general surgery at the Dallas / Fort Worth Medical Center, ultimately serving as Chief Resident from 1991 to 1992.

Dr. Scott Stowers is licensed to practice medicine by the state of Texas.  Dr. Scott Stowers is a member of many prestigious medical organizations, signifying his commitment to excellence and the recognition of his peers as a quality bariatric surgeon. They include:
